Sapporo Medical University opened its door for the first time in the year 1950 at the city of Sapporo, Hokkaido with the core objectives of providing quality education based on medical sciences as well as producing skilled manpower in medical fields too. It mostly focuses on cancer palliative care course and different research programs under the Cancer disease. More than 2000 students enroll and over 1500 dedicated faculty members are involving in this University.
