Yamagata University opened its door for the first time in the year 1949 with the core objectives of providing quality education and exporting highly skilled manpower for the welfare of the society, country and entire world. It always focuses on theoretical & practical knowledge so that can solve the modern problems of this complex world in a creative way. It has expands its services through campuses like: Kojirakawa Campus, Iida Campus, Yonezawa Campus and Tsuruoka Campus. International students are eligible to apply in this University if they follow these procedures at the time of admission:

  • Complete application through online and show all the documents.
  • All the academic reports from high school to college must be shown.
  • Copy of passport is also necessary.
  • Financial statement verified by the bank also required to afford the cost of University.
  • Optimum marks must scores in TOEFL as well as international students must also have the knowledge of Japanese language.
